Linen Cut-Off Overalls and Orange Rowallan Cross-Over Bags
MIA Clogs and Clear-Absent-Rimmed Sunnies
Hey lovelies! Last weekend I went to a yummy breakfast at Pandora (the new little French café in downtown Orange which is literally my new favorite place in the circle!) and then went on a little photo shoot/ thrift shopping escapade with my fav, Katherine! I wanna talk about Pandora for a little bit because I literally have been there four times in the past week lol! First things first, it is located where Café Luca used to be (right across from the bank). It is a little French Café which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner – from delicious gelato to INCREDIBLE warm pastries (Get the warm, fresh beignets the next time you go – for $1.50, you cannot go wrong with your choice!) to fresh, healthy sandwiches and salads, Pandora IS the epitome of food heaven!
After we had breakfast, we went to the ally-way behind À la Minute/ Provisions/ Nectar to take pics! Honestly, this ally-way is a hidden treasure in Orange – there is a super cute blue stairway, a red fence, and abundant brick walls (all of which worked so so well for this shoot!). Go check it out sometime after you go have a yummy ice cream from Pandora.
Because I knew we were going to be taking photos in the Circle, I chose to wear one of my more unique outfits (Also, shoutout to the lady who came up to me in Nectar and complemented my “funky” sense of style!! It made my day!). It was kind of chilly outside, so I needed to layer-up the look. I wore my black linen cut-off overalls (Cali-Blue Brand) with a long-sleeve off-the-shoulder striped top (Forever 21) under it! The linen cut-off overalls are a bold piece of apparel – everyone needs to invest in a pair! To accessorize, I threw in my Gap denim jacket, my white ASOS bandana, some clear absent-rimmed sunnies, and my MIA clogs from Forever 21. Lastly, I wanted to add a pop of color to the look, so I threw in my orange Rowallan cross-over bag! Oh, and I almost forgot to talk about my rings! I added three knew ones to my collection: the gold ring with a ruby is from my gma (it’s an antique!); the thin silver band is from Pandora; and the gold and silver thumb ring is from Macys! I just need two pinky rings to have two hands fully clothed in metal – so, if you have any suggestions on where to purchase cute pinky rings, lmk in the comments below!
After our shoot, we went thrifting, and boy were we the bargain-finders of the day! We went to the Assistance League thrift shop in the circle (one of my all-time favs)! Katherine found some nice, simple sweaters/ tanks and a really cute pair of jeans for 5$!!! She also found me this super cute Disney button up which was literally only 3$, but is probably worth at least 50$ because its an original antique. I also found some pink Calvin Klein boot cut jeans for $5 as well!
I would say that our Saturday was a success – if you live in Orange, I encourage you to go check out Pandora and the Assistance League thrift shop this weekend! Have a lovely rest of your day and don’t forget to comment below with any good shop suggestions that sell good-quality pinky rings!
